Indeed, crystal clear in both video and sound. Some songs were played in a weird downtempo, not enough to be alternate version, but "draggy" as if they were tired. When In Rome, particularly. I love Destination, but Sara's voice is getting ragged. But man did she nail Reasons Why. Good show all around but muffled energy.

Enjoying this very much. ACL is always so short, the live stream is great! Agree that some of the songs were "draggy" but now they are re-doing some of them. I'm gonna keep watching!

I only got there in time for the last two numbers...but I did get to see their show live a couple weeks ago.

Sure liked the little bit I got to see tonight...

Ha ha! I've been in medicine too long. I saw ACL taping, and my first thought was adhesive tape stabilization of a knee with anterior cruciate ligament damage. Why Nickel Creek was doing it did give me pause...

Man oh man I just love the sound of Seans J45. Does anyone have any idea what kind of pickup he was using? I could see it sitting in the soundhole and it looked like some kind of mics

Totally agree. That sloped-shouldered Bourgeois he played sounded great too. Very distinct and percussive.

    He is a great guitarist.

Did you folks see the close-ups of Thile's Loar? That baby is "well played" to say the least.

Frankly, I think it's refreshing to see such a great instrument in the hands of a gifted working musician and doing what it was meant to do instead of being locked away in some glass case someplace.
