Default Steve Smith at Cumberland Acoustic

A lot of people here have talked about Steve's bridges but I just want to give a shout out to Steve himself. Steve is a super busy guy (he also has an electric bicycle business in addition to his music supply and instrument building) but he was willing to do a custom order for me and make some mandolin bridges out of some African Blackwood blocks I had sitting around. I should get them Monday.
Steve was a pleasure to work with, prompt email exchanges and a great phone conversation were par for the course.
I don't know if the African Blackwood will sound any different from an Ebony one but I am looking forward to trying them.
Steve was able to get more bridges out of the blocks then I could use, so they might be available if you contact him. NFI

    Thanks Steve!

He was very helpful and very prompt making a custom pickguard for my Goldrush! It's waiting on me for when I'm in the US next week. I think it took him less than 3 days!
