Default 2014 Bales Electric Mandolins, our latest.

Here are our latest 4 string e-mandos, just finished them today and they
are leaving home tommorrow! A burl maple solid body, and a walnut top
semi-hollow body with rosewood fretboards and rock maple necks.
Good to building again full time.

They look great! How do you like the rail pickups? Always thought it would be a good option for the A and E strings to sound clear and loud as the rest.

I really like the dual-rail humbucker sound, it gives a very balanced string response across all the strings.
Almuse makes a single-coil pickup I've tried, they also sound great & very balanced.

Nice looking work Terry, and glad to see you're back at building. I really like the choice of woods.
