    Default old redwood Silverangel

Here's another 1850 redwood off my bench. Love the sound of this redwood, deep and woody,

Nice work, the finish makes the wood look a foot deep.

Looks great Ken. If you haven't had a chance to hear one of Ken's latest Redwood topped mandolins, you're really missing out on a fine instrument. I have a recent build of Ken's and it has wonderful even tone, plenty of volume...and great playability. Once again, my newest acquisition from Ken is my favorite! He needs to quit improving though....I can't resist a trade or purchase every time I visit with Ken, and thing is, my current Silverangel is as much mandolin as anyone could ever want or need....much like the Silverangels I've had in the past, LOL. I just can't help myself. I'm sure this one is no different, I'd fully expect more deep tone than most anything you'll play and wonderful artistry. Proud to call Ken a friend.
