I like InsTuner for a tuner and Tempo for a metronome. I just use the video feature for recording. Shazam is great for identifying tunes or recordings you hear but don't know.
I use cleartune for tuning and assorted stuff.
One great function on my iPhone - the "Do not Disturb" function. I put that on before the jam and pick up any messages afterwards. Wonderful.
- I use Clockwork for a metronome.
- Cleartune as a tuner
- iReal Pro (thanks to Don Julin for suggesting this) for creating chord backups to play against
- Spotify to find various versions of the songs I'm trying to learn (you have to pay for a subscription to use it on your phone, but you can download it for free to your computer)
- Amazing Slow Downer and Anytune Pro to slowdown, loop, and transpose music I'm learning.
- TEFView to play Tabledit files
- iPhone's built-in recorder to record jams I go to so I can learn the songs later.
- Ridiculous Fishing and Plants vs Zombies 2 when I want to take a break from playing for a few minutes

I use several of the mentioned apps on my phone, but I often use the "Chord Finder" in the Mandolin Cafe App
I've mentioned this another thread- FretTester for memorizing the fretboard of various instruments.
Amazing slow downer, iRealPro, guitar tool kit, weatherbug, mandolin cafe, loopy hd, Skype

Mandolin Companion. Lots of chords and inversions of them up and down the neck. Pretty handy.
For slow down and tune analysis, check out Capo.
