"Absolutely positive" means "100%," right? So, yeah ... But I'm absolutely positive those 1.2% are banjo players!

JB - I'm pretty sure that ''absolutely positive'' means feeling that way about any % you wish to quote. It's possibly the same on US TV as it is on UK TV,where cosmetic (& other) companies claim that (for example) 85% of 371 women 'prefered' their product. They do it that way knowing that 99.9% of 'x' number of viewers don't know what the hell 85% of 371 women is. Always good for a laugh, especially as 85% of 371 = 315.35. Who's the unfortunate 0.35 of a person (& which part) that got to vote ???,
    Ivan
    Weber F-5 'Fern'.
    Lebeda F-5 "Special".
    Stelling Bellflower BANJO
    Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
    Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.

And is the first chart about the musical instrument or the French kitchen slicer?

Yeah, really. They're not in the same league. Mandolin is SO much better.

Just goes to show, the internet is full of misleading, even erroneous "information."

Just so I'm sure we're on the same page, "absolutely positive" is not the same as "Absolutely Fabulous, ' which is. Both.

As I said ... But then, I was kind of kidding. Now ... yikes!

Then again, fewer people like Hitler than banjo, so in some sense this is good?
