    Default Very small tenor.

Here is my little tenor, well actually it is a mahogany baritone uke with a cut down neck & CGDA nylon strings.
I used some walnut for the fret board & head, re fretted it for playing fast irish jigs, not so far to stretch for the 7th but actually I tend to strum it more than pick it.
Just a bit of fun really & not too expensive to put together.

    Nice job!
    ...Steve

Current Stable: Two Tenor Guitars (Martin 515, Blueridge BR-40T), a Tenor Banjo (Deering GoodTime 17-Fret), a Mandolin (Burgess #7). two Banjo-Ukes and five Ukuleles..

The inventory is always in some flux, but that's part of the fun.

Nice, just out of curiosity what did you cut the neck down to?

I only cut down the width, 30mm at the nut.
Most ukes don't have removable necks so I just carefully used hand tools to reduce the width from 38 to 30mm.
I used a bone tenor banjo nut & just modified the bridge.
The one pictured actually has quite a short scale for a baritone at 19.5" my others are 20.5"
I have built quite a few small scale tenor type designs, some from 1/4 size guitars & some from scratch.
I like the quite & mellow sound of the nylon string for indoor practice, the small size makes playing in the car at lunch times etc very easy to so they are great practice instruments & good fun.
