Choro Week at Centrum Port Townsend WA - I'm there, are you?!

Hey choro mando (bando?) brothers & sisters - just writing to tell you how excited I am for the upcoming Centrum choro week April 30-May 1. I missed the last two years but will be back with bells on this year, psyched to hang with Douglas, Dudu, Alé, Jovino, and to finally hear Anat Cohen, who I've heard about all year from blown-away last-year's Centrum attendees. Also very psyched to catch up with all of the friends I've met over the years through our mutual interest in choro.

If you've been on the fence, sign up now - it's not just your average workshop - and it's certainly not just mandolinists either - bring friends on any instrument who are into choro or think they might be.

For others who don't know, and that included Me, this workshop is at a place called Centrum in Port Townsend Washington. It is a folk and jazz and cultural arts school. It looks like a really beautiful setting and they have some great programs. Here is their link.
