Have you noticed the amount of killer mandos that seems to enter the ranks of the classifieds these days? Seems like it's been on an upward curve since about this time last year consistently. There are just some rockin' mandos out there!...whoosh!

I usually do a trawl through the Classifieds a couple of times a week & there's always a half dozen or so that i'd love to get my hands on. The big problem is that i get dehydrated from drooling so much !, The Ellis De-Luxe F5 "Fern" is simply awesome !,

What exactly does MAS stand for? I'm a newbie to this board and to the mandolin world in general. I've gathered from context that it refers to the urge to upgrade or replace your current instrument but would like to know the meaning of the acronym.

Wow, I didn't even see the Brentrup. Based on the photos at the Brentrup registry, that thing looks amazing.

I cam close to biting on the Summit, if for no other reason than to see how it sounds, but that would sort of wipe out the vacation funds and my GF would NOT approve of that

in the acoustic guitar world also, right now there's a boat load of very nice, attractively priced guitars on the AGF.
one of the best times of the year to be a buyer imo.
