Question lonely is the night -- billy squire

Has anyone mastered this song? I tried following a guitar tutorial and got no where. If someone has played this on their emando and is will to shoot a video, I would so love to see it! I could only find guitar tab and well, I don't play guitar...
    Thanks for any help!

You can probably use the guitar chords, though figuring the picking (especially at the beginning) would have to be by ear I would think.

That is where I get lost. I can only find "tab". Can't read it! And since I don't play guitar, watching video of it doesn't help. I can watch and play the drum part (I'm really just a drummer).

My two cents (worth at least half that), since the intro relies so heavily on high and low open E's, it will be tough to do in the original key (not impossible but tough).

And once the chords come in there is a hammered on IV over I chord, that again, on guitar is much easier than mandolin:

Like this on guitar, A to D:

    ho po
    -x---x---x
    -2---3---2
    -2---2---2
    -2---4---2
    -x---x---x
    -x---x---x

If Keith Richards played ,mandolin he'd be an accountant by day.

I'm finally getting it, but it definitely has a different fullness than on the guitar. E to D to E to E to D to A is most of the verse and E to D to A to E to D to C to G work for the bridge, from what I can tell...
