    Default R.I.P. Paco De Lucia

R.I.P. Paco de Lucia. One of the greatest guitarists who ever lived. The guitar world mourns, but in the world of flamenco, this is the greatest imaginable loss.

Very sad day indeed, Gracias, Maestro!

I was lucky enough to see him at the Warfield Theatre in December of 1980. That show became the 'Friday Night in San Francisco' LP. Godspeed Paco de Lucia.

Very sad, saw him twice in Ann Arbor, once with the band complete with dancers and once with the Guitar Summit concerts with Al Demeola and another great jazz guitarist whose name will not surface in the grey matter right now.
