I did look at the Sawchin site. Some very nice instruments, and not just the flat-tops. The A2 and A2Z, and the R-series equivalent are all nice-looking. There a bit pricier than I was hoping for however. Does he have sound clips that I missed? (Okay, found the Beaver-tail clip)

Based on your signature, you do seem to have some experience with flat-tops... Yes, I've always liked the looks of the Redlines.

I love both my Redline Traveler and my Davy Stuart.

His flat tops are a work of art. They are loud and fun to play.

Bob Gray's post reminded me there's a Davy Stuart in the classifieds for $850. If I was in the market, I'd be all over that.

We can't forget Cafe contributors like Keith Newell and Andy Poe, about whom who I first heard from their postings here. I have no idea what either of these gentlemen charge, but they do make nice looking instruments, including flattops.

Not only is there a Stuart, but I saw a Poe flat-top in the ads in the past couple of days. Both also seem nice.

Add these to the arch-top instruments I'm considering, and it's almost too many choices. Time to start listening to some of them.

Also not forgetting Cafe member Gary Nava who does a standard A flattop (induced arch) model as well as custom A and two-point styles.
