    Default Het CONSORT - Guitar Concerto by Chris Mouter

    Hello dear Mandolin Café friends,

    Here is the wonderful 'Concerto for Guitar and Mandolin Orchestra' by the Dutch composer and guitarist Chris Mouter (1924-1982) as it was performed by the Dutch guitarist Tom Edskes and Het CONSORT.

    It is a live recording of the complete Concerto with its three movements 'Allegro - Andante - Allegretto-Presto' made during our 'Louter Mouter' concert - a programme fully dedicated to the compositions by Chris Mouter. The concert was given November 2nd of this year in the Thamerchurch in Uithoorn (NL).


    Enjoy about 25 (!) minutes of guitar solo with mandolin orchestra music!
