Hmmm... I do believe I just heard Chris Thile's track of Partita No. 1 in B minor, BWV 1002 III. Corrente on the TV drama, "The Good Wife." It was featured quite prominently at the end of the episode.

It was indeed very nice. The piece was also featured in the opening of the show as well.
Funny. I thought it was Chris!
Just noticed this last evening as well. Nice indeed. Along with other recent mainstream "sightings" it suggests the mandolin (or at least Chris Thile) is gaining general acceptance...
Well, I'm glad this thread is here. I don't even watch The Goodwife, but it happened to be on my television last night as I was doing my chores. I heard a really wonderful classical piece being played on the mandolin and raced in there just to hear it, but had no idea what piece it was or who played it. I was just about to ask here on the Cafe, but lo and behold the answer is already here!
A bit of a side note, but I believe Thile is also featured in his wife's entertaining comedy skits called "Chelsey and Kelsey"
