Please help identify 2 Mandolins (1 Banjo-Mandolin)

Hello everyone, I've been on this website for a while but finally made an account just to ask this, so I hope it works out! I visited an antique store a few days ago and found two beat up mandolins with no brand names.

The first is a 2 point with some kind of logo on the headstock, but nothing written inside it, and the second is a banjo-mando with no writing on it. the BM was behind glass so I couldn't check the back for any other markings. Thank you for the help!

Can you post a picture of the back of the headstock on the 2 point? Are the top and back flat or arched on that 2 point?

Not sure about the mandolins, but they're asking $25 for a plastic recorder that's missing 1 of 3 parts.... That's bat**** crazy.
If it's from the same seller, I'd expect similar outrageous pricing for mandos that will need repair.

I went into a charity shop in the UK one time and commented on an old instrument, mainly sort of a guitar superglued together. It was REALLY expensive. I told the guy at the shop that it was REALLY expensive and he said to you, young man, we give an 80% discount! It’s the end of the summer and there aren’t many rich tourists left. Yes they do pay those prices, and are happy for a momento of England to hang on their wall when they get back.
We are happy, they are happy.

I kept looking at it, thinking, is that England?

I was nearby the store when I saw this so I checked it out again. I took more pictures that will be posted later today, but I can confirm that the top and back are arched and not flat

Both mandos are listed at $400 but they do a lot of bartering

I fully agree, but seeing how the owner labeled the 2 point as just "string instrument" I'm positive the don't have the slightest clue what it is or if they even know its a mandolin. *If* it is something worth picking up, I'm confident I can get it for under 100

I think it really depends on your interest, why would you buy it?

Re: the two-point— looks like the work of an amateur luthier. Could be OK or not. I can't tell whether it is a flattop or actually arched or even carved. Bridge looks clunky. Nothing too special. Mandolin-banjo probably Chicago-made sold in wholesale lots. Prices are overly optimistic.

Now if you had the name of the kid who did the woodwork on the mandolin and photos of her house, school, and a diary WITH tab and Youtube vids AND we were in the year 2095, then this mandolin might be worth a lot more than they’re asking.

Is the 2 point a flat top? Also, looks like the fingerboard is on the top, not over it. If so, I bet it don't sound too great. Banjolin has one of the high E tangs either broken off, or at least very bent. Figure on replacing it.
