I have seen family members fight over many stupid things in someone's estate, so I can only imagine fisticuffs breaking out over the leftover toilet paper in some poor dead soul's bathroom closet . . .

Mando practice is still on schedule on weekday mornings (with work from home afterwards) but with spring time in Atlanta, it’s all about the garden.

The wife and I finally got everything weeded, turned, amended and prepped for planting both front yard and back. Everything is in place except the peppers, and that will get planted once nights stay above 50 degrees.

Many coworkers and friends are complaining about not being able to go to the gym. Our ‘gym’ is free and provides food. But it does involve digging out stumps.

    Stay safe!

Surprisingly (to me) I'm practicing a lot. Mostly while watching Star Trek Voyager.

Man that Janeway was a bad a**!

    Then I eat a lot.

My neighborhood has a "Last Man On Earth" vibe to it so I rarely go out.

This has got to be over soon.

Thankfully, some trees and shrubs have started to leaf out here in Pennsylvania. I think I’ll survive the TP crisis. And yes, I can ID poison ivy!

Amazingly, our local supermarket has TP and other paper products on the shelf!!!

Could it be that people are finally coming to their senses?

When one set of grandparents passed, our family found two cabinets in the downstairs bathroom full of bars of soap. Probably 1,000+ bars. Dating back 30 to 40 years. My grandfather would get it from salvage at a trucking company and just store it. Thankfully there were no family fights over it.

Isn't it spooky? I used to be pleasantly shocked when I went to a store and came across a nice musical instrument, or a rare vinyl album . . . now I'm stunned when I see toilet paper.

Hoarding TP is not pandemically-correct. So we bought one package.

P.S. We did order some of the bamboo TP from China (through Amazon). It should arrive around Christmas time. We'll send it to our friends as gifts.

For laughs (and I'm needing a lot of those right now):
    * Seinfeld reruns
    * Going through the entire "Reno 911" series.

    For sanity:
    * NO social media (except a little Instagram that is music and family oriented).
    * Minimal news from the mainstream.
    * Lots of YT music videos.
    * Lots of mandolin playing.

Have you read "Catch and Kill" by Ronan Farrow? It reads like a thriller, but it's the true account of his investigation into Harvey Weinstein.

    For Laughs:
    - Just started watching old Bullwinkle and Bugs Bunny cartoons on YouTube; (that Daffy Duck is a great actor).

    For Sanity:
    - I am happy to report that after 6 months of writers block, earlier today I finally finished my first new song of 2020. With any luck I'll be back to recording by the end of the week.

My lovely wife and I are fortunate to have jobs that allow WFH, so not a lot changed on that front other than saving on gas and getting an extra 45 minutes back in the morning.

The list of honey-do's and projects are getting knocked out at a record pace. Mostly on our backyard & deck - will be a nice jamming atmosphere when things get back to "normal". This has seriously cut into practice time though.

Having great fun watching the corgi's romping around - almost like a furry hockey game at times with the amount of running body checks going on.

Binge watched The Mandalorian. Hitting Netflix for my kung-fu & swordplay fix.

    Catching up on Bible study.

Getting sucked into The Voice. I'll admit to only watching the DVRs so I can fast forward thru the dialog & commercials.

Working on organizing my shed, optimizing space, making plans for a new workbench & shelves.

Other than that, nothing much going on.
Despite the high cost of living, it still remains popular...

I seem to be stuck on scouring the internet for Mandolins I don't need and cannot afford.
I've been practicing more, jogging 4 plus miles, doing more exercise, playing darts. Think I'll get the harmonicas out today. But I'm retired so come to think of it, this is my usual day anyway.

On a side note, a friend of mine says they are still holding regular AA meetings using the Internet and that they're working quite well. He has been dry for over 15 years and was fanatical about attending meetings. He's pleased.

I thank the Good Lord that my admittedly addictive personality has never spilled over into drugs or alcohol. I have the utmost respect for people like your friend who have managed to overcome their addictions. Bravo! (I would offer to shake his hand in congratulations, but that's now on the top 10 socially forbidden list.)

Might I share this link with your friend then? It has literally hundreds of AA speaker tapes dating back at least 20 years if not more, from all over the country. Hours of free listening.
