Default Six to eight string conversion

I am finally getting this guitar together. It started life as a Mitchell Mini guitar , 22.5 inch scale. Trimmed about 1/4 inch off both sides of the neck and I added two strings and tuned it GDAE. The most difficult part was the finish, painting well is hard to do.

I am not a good player. I made a recording but won't share it. I am that bad.

I have not set it yet. I want to have the new strings settled before adjusting.

Nice colour, how did you paint it and with what?
I think it might play and look better with lipstick pickups but it still looks great!

Thanks fox. Here is a synopsis I posted on another site.

I have been struggling with this paint thing. But I have learned a lot.

    1. Do not use Rustoleum, it never cures
2.Use Krylon it cures in one day
    3. Apply only enough color paint to cover the guitar, ONLY second coat 10 minutes after the first coat.
    4. Use USC Spray Max 2k High Gloss Clearcoat Aerosol
    5. Use a respirator and gloves with the clearcoat it is nasty stuff.
    6. One can of clearcoat will cover 2 guitars with 3 coats.
    7. Sand progressively from 600-2000 grit then buff. Looks like a factory job cures hard as a brick.

    Paint is the devil...….
