There's a great version in B in Roland White's book. Lot's of other great tunes tabbed out too.
The MandoZine TablEdit Archives has 3 different versions of Blue Moon of Kentucky.
The version on "Bluegrass Mandolin Extravaganza" is in the Key of C.
Keepin tuned ...

PGAfan,
From reading the posts, I take it that you play mostly by ear. If so, do you usually listen to the tune and memorize and, then, play in the key of choice or do you use tab to start a new one?
Thanks for any input. I am wanting to play mostly by ear.
Well yes i usually just listen to the tune find the first couple of notes and go from there. Its easy for me because thats how i learned. If i can't get a tune i just look to tab and learn a couple mesures and then im on my way. It gets easier and easier each time. It helps to know your scales but sometimes i can just find my way around.
