    Default Epiphone Mandobird strings

I've just bought a Mandobird and would be interested if anyone has one what strings they are using.

    Any info appreciated.

My favourites are D`Addario nickel electric guitar strings bought individually...0.010", 0.014", 0.024"W and 0.036"W.
If you have the 8 string Mandobird with the bar type bridge, as long as the action is good, the above strings will intonate perfectly without having to worry about aftermarket bridges.
    Have fun!

And buy an Almuse pickup and have a good professional install it and sound shield the pickup cavity. Made all the difference in the world to the sound of the Mandobird. (I have no connection with Almuse expect being a very happy customer).

I use these on my 'bird. And an Almuse p'up. And a good bridge. I made a new bone nut. Huge improvement with these minor (cost) upgrades.
