Thread: The Honey Dewdrops

    Default The Honey Dewdrops

Just listened to this couple on the random MP3 on the mandolincafe home page.
Also, spent the afternoon today listening to them at a House Concert in Paulding, Ohio.
They are a very pleasant, young married couple that sing lovely harmonies and play their instruments very well on their folk-influenced original music and old standards.
After the concert they invited the host and three others of us to join them in a spur-of- the-moment jam session. Had a great time.
Please listen to their music and if given a chance, attend one of their concerts. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Yep. I've seen them twice here in NC. Always very enjoyable.

The Honey Dewdrops actually dropped by our regular Friday night jam and picked with us! They are wonderful!

    Giving this thread a nudge...

My daughter and I saw them tonight at The Tin Pan in Richmond. Heard one of their songs on Pandora, shared it with my wife, and she surprised me with tickets.

Extremely talented pickers, wonderful harmonies, and Laura could sing the names out of a phone book & I'd probably still pay to listen.

Treat yourself to some YouTube and enjoy. They're pretty good in person too, and quite funny.
Despite the high cost of living, it still remains popular...
