Kentucky Mandolin

Would somebody help me out with the chords/tab for Kentucky Mandolin. I know there's Gm and F in there but what is the walk up/beginnning? Much appreciated!

The into is a slow ascending G minor riff, Bb pentatonic played from G to G, lowest to highest in first position.

What is the walk up/ bass notes or is that defined by the pentatonic as mentioned. Don't have my mando in front of me. Is the jam part mostly the Gm and F?

There's a really nice arrangement in Butch Baldassari's "30 Fiddle Tunes For Mandolin". Great book/CD, highly recommended!! Yes, it's mostly Gm to F with a D7 at the cadence.

Hey Steve, here is my interpretation of what Monroe is doing on this recording. Few discrepancies in the transcription, but in all fairness, Monroe never played it the same way once.

One cool thing to do on KM is on the B part. For the first half, the band goes to G major, then F, then Gm. Adds some spice.
