    Jon builds the most beautiful Mandolins, I have been in love with the Powder Blue one on his website since he first posted the pictures of it. The one piece neck through design is not only unique it has to give the instrument sustain to spare. What finish have you selected for your little beauty?

    Yeah I've been obsessing over his site for a while. I actually sold my zeta acoustic pro violin and codabow to get this. I was tempted to leave it natural but I decided to go with honeyburst. Like this, no pickguard and two pickups though:

    Black pick-up rings for sure. Those things are Boss!
    For the hardware I think that either chrome or gold would look fantastic...Aren't the frets gold?

    I don't think they're gold, must be just the light. I'm sure he would have said so if it was, but that would certainly influence my decision about the hardware.

    I've wanted a 5 string electric since about 1998 and wouldn't even have known about Jonathan Mann if it weren't for this site. Thanks very much! Super excited.
