    Default design inspirations

    Hi folks,
take a look what those fools made of some E-Guitar-build-yourself-Kits:
    http://www.gitarre-bestellen.de/blog...&blog_item=151
klick on the right side of the page below "payPal" crap, also on "contest 2010" - it's amazing!!
Well, as I will be the owner of an Déjà-vu E-Mandola Kit from Moongazer, I really got some inspirations for the design, hehe...
will definitely not stay with some laquer... looks as I will spend a little bit more time in designing (yees) the outfit...
See you later with some pics...!
    Yours,
    Tom

    Sorry, was kinda short...
the guitar pictures you find at the site are made of E-Guitar Kits, similar to the E-Mandolin and E-Mandola kits sold by www.Moongazermusic.com and to the Saga Mandolin kit. Finishing, electrics etc. are made by the customers themselves. And some of them did lots more than putting some oil on and play... and on some pics you can see some of them are just kids! If you just don't know what Moongazer-music is, try the search button of this site ;-)

On the right hand side of the page http://www.gitarre-bestellen.de/blog...&blog_item=151
is lot of links. One is for Paypal, under that is a listing of "contest 2010". Opens with another list down the right side of kit built guitars that must have been contest nominees. Some are rather wild...

    Thanks Tom, slow typer here.

it's two contents, 2010 and 2011 (two dropdown menus) and the guitars are thoses which are nominated to the content of the year by their creators... some of them described what they did and how they did it...

My favorite is this one (the blue one on the top of the thread), ist is made of this E-guitar kit... and gives me much inspirations for the Mandola...!

    Thanks for the thread Tom.
I LOVE this one.....a real work of art.......reminds me, I once entertained the idea of doing a Zemaitis style mando - pity the guitar builder didn`t give a link to his blog as I`d love to know how that etching was done

    Hello Pete
Google told me an Email adress at least... better than nothing
http://www.enemultimedia.es/marea.swf Try "E-mail directo". Don't know if Mr "Pastrana" is the same...
I really like it, too... would put some other stuff on it such as ancient scriptures but it's really great so see.

P.S. Just changed my Avatar... I think you know the picture (hope it's okay?!) Just because I look at it every day and I like it so much!!
