Default Original Jazz for Solo 5-string

This tune was inspired by John Scofield's bluesy funk. Ryder through a bit of Maxon Sonic Distortion, AnalogMan chorus, line out from Crate, and added light echo/reverb.

Thanks. The tune was written on the 5-string, but first used on when I was playing jazz on 5-string electric fiddle and eventually viola. Bringing it back to its roots, although with an up-tempo groove that differs from its original version.

Art: I used to live 5 minutes from the Wright Studio. Not sure if you've been, but there's practically a whole neighborhood of his houses in Oak Park.

Although we're not exactly on topic here, I will add this weird fact---I live around the corner from his studio. Don't much like his houses; I prefer the ornate Victorians around here. At least the neighbors don't mind me practicing loudly at times.

Very nice tune, and very well played. Not to get too far off topic.......Are those stacked humbuckers on your EM45? I was reading Steve winds his own coiils and was just curious. Actually, just thinking about another electric....

Tom, I think you should change your story. Or at least write a song about it. You'd get more NPR airplay, at least!
