My recently finished 'Bandola Expandido'

This is an instrument I built based on the Bandola Llanera, but 'extended' (expandido). I have added an extra string and the neck and scale length are slightly longer than a traditional Bandola.

The scale length is 520mm. The tuning of a traditional bandola would be A, D, A, E, so I have continued that a fifth lower, in a cittern-type tuning of C, A, D, A, E, and eventually settled on a re-entrant tuning of C3, A2, D3, A3, E4. This worked well because I can use a set of guitar strings for it (minus the low E).
