    Default Eastwood Mandolacaster

    I have an Eastwood Mandocaster, currently tuned as a mandolin. Would it be possible to tune it as a mandola, or would that damage the neck? Preemptive thanks...

    Yes, but you'll need to reset the intonation.

    You'll need some abnormally heavy C strings ... .054 or .056 ... and they'll probably still be floppy.
