    Default ovation copy octave mandolins

Anyone have any experience with these instruments that have popped up on ebay?

CelticDude, thanks for that info, I had overlooked checking CBOM threads before I posted. TJ's review certainly saves a lot of us some trouble! The green one that is currently on ebay looked nice, but for that price it seemed the quality couldn't be that good.

"We are Music Instrument wholesale in Houston, TX" ... but we have to lay the item on the tile floor of our utility room, next to the laundry, to take a picture. That should pretty much tell you all you need to know about that seller...

Richard, Your welcome. Yes, I was taken by a blue model a while back, and the green would be fun for Irish trad., but I'm glad now that I didn't go for it.
