Rice Custom Guitars Electric Mandolin. Although best known for their electric guitars, Chris and Rich cranked this sweet looking mandolin out a few years back. Yup, that's a Bill Lawrence pickup on it. I actually tried to buy this off of them but it wasn't for sale. Don't mean they won't build me one though.

Interesting. Are the frets fanned, or is it just the photo giving the impression they are not parallel?

Interesting ... At first I thought it was made of fiberboard, but I blew up the photo and it's beautiful maple.

no Cliff, frets are parallel, bridge is usually askew on fan fret setups, so an optical illusion is likely..
