Rocky Road to Dublin is a good one for getting into the 9/8 feeling. It is a good "template tune" for all the slip jigs. The tune is easy to follow while being goofy enough to be interesting.
Many other slip jigs I found much harder to get, the tunes feeling kind of like a bowling ball in a refridgerator box falling down a staircase. Rocky Road would have been a good front door.
Chuck Old Hen - lots of drive in this one and lots of room for variations. Terrific tune.
I'm new to this club. Is it possible for me to get myself set up so that I get an e mail (or a daily digest) when a new poll comes out and when people post mp3s and videos?

Rob, if you go to "thread tools" which is right above the very first thread, you can choose "subcribe to this thread", so that way you'll know when it gets updated. As to being alerted when new videos are posted - we post them all over in the S-A-W social group itself and I don't know if the subscribe feature is available there.
