Default Five Miles of Ellum Wood

A very old Kentucky fiddle tune I learned from Bruce Greene. After playing it first on fiddle it occurred to me that it might be a good mandolin tune.

The little oval Eastman is tuned GDGD, a common old time fiddle tuning.

Great job, Chuck. This is the tune of the month for our local "old time" group next month. Thanks for sharing.

Thats' a fine tune, Chuck, and your tuning adds to the over-all sound, especially on the solo mandolin version.
