    Question Boorinwood electric mandolin

    Hi Guys,
anyone know anything about Boorinwood electric mandolins from Ireland,
I have looked at the site but apart from a very poor photograph it does not say anything about them

No experience personally, though the front page on the site gives the following info about their imported/self-branded mandos, though it doesn't specify which model each one refers to...

    Mandolins :- Boorinwood Korean,& Encore ( Romanian ) & China

not much, tho i guess that's more than saying nothing...

Those mandolins aren't from Ireland. They're cheap imports from China and elsewhere. I don't know which electric you were considering, but it doesn't matter ... none of them are worth your while. There are some good luthiers in Ireland and the UK who'll build you something much better.
