Default pain in little finger :

Sometimes I get a burning pain in my little finger not on the ends but more to the side. It comes on all of a sudden, feels like being sliced with a razor. Funny thing I can mash on it and massage it and it will go away when I'm doing that. It usually last a full day or so, then just quits. Any of ya'll have the same thing happen ? I figure there might be a doc or nurse on here that knows what is going on. Is it a nerve pinched or what, or is it just old age ?

I'm relatively new here, but most sites don't like folks to ask for or give medical advice. As you know, repetitive-motion injuries can be very serious. If you have any concern about the condition of your hands, it's always best to see a professional!

Bummer. I doubt any reputable nurse or doc would make a diagnosis on a forum like this. Best to see your doctor I suspect.

A health professional is certainly your best option. HIGHLY recommended.
