IF I HAD STAGE RIGHTS I'D LEAVE IT TO YOU. WE COULD ALL HAVE FUN AND BETTER HOME BREW. SAYS THE LONG-EARRED MULE STANDING OVER HIS BOX TO THE BIG MOUTHED ELEPHANT YOU DRINK LIKE AN OX. HAD 12 YEARS PROVED NOTHIN' BUT A CURSE 'STEAD OF MAKIN' IT BETTER IT'S GETTIN' WORSE AND WORSE. SAYS THE LONG EARRED MULE, I AINT NO FOOL. THE ELEPHANT SAID YOU LONG EARRED MULE, WOULD YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH NEVER BEEN TO SCHOOL. THE MULE SAID ELEPHANT, IT AINT NO JOKE WE GOTTA DO SOMETHIN' OR WE'RE ALL GONNA CROAK. AINT GOT NOTHIN' BUT A CAR LOAD OF TAX AND THE DOG GONE LOAD IS JUST BREAKIN OUR BACKS. WE GOT THE BLUES, THE BREAD LINE BLUES. BACK TO THE FIRST VERSE.

What a great song to learn in an election year. I think Jorma does it in "C" and Sammy has some real neat breaks that are pretty easy. Have fun with it. I did!!!!

"what a great song to learn in an election year"
    Exactly what I was thinking.
Anybody have the chord progression for this?
    Thanks,

I could be wrong, but I think it's just a 2 chord song. If you do it in "C" like Jorma does, it's just C and G throughout.
