Um, where are you seeing one advertised? AFAIK Fender only made about 30 4-string emandos and sold them exclusively in Europe. According to their Web site, the FM52E and FM62SE are the only e-mandos they're still peddling (both 8-string acoustic/electric models).
Are you thinking of the new Kentucky KM-300E?

yeah, i was thinking about a kentuck fm 300e, but decided for a fender fm62se and i love it

yea i was looking at the fm62e as well but im leaning torwards getting a 4 or 5 string because im naturally a guitar player. and im striving to get a little of that guitar tonality. Plus im starting to really get into Michael kang's style (string cheese incident)because alot of his stlye derives from some of my favorite players ie (jerry garcia/ trey anastasio)
