    Thumbs up "Keepin' It Reel" by The Courtney Janes

    My boy Aidan and I discovered The Courtney Janes at our local Farmers Market last Saturday, and now I can't stop listening to their CDs, especially the newest release, Keepin' It Reel.

    Keepin' It Reel includes twelve tunes penned by them, and is performed on acoustic mandolin and acoustic guitar (although as in the below pics the mandolinist switched between mandolin and guitar at their Farmers Market gig, and the guitarist also picked up his Tele for several songs). Every song on the CD is a keeper, and both their playing and vocals are quite nice. If you are a fan of acoustic music and/or mandolin guitar duets, you will not be disappointed in this CD.
