    Howdy,

Banjo player looking for a mandolin player to jam with: Bluegrass
primarly, but jazz/swing interests me as well. I'm located in the
Gaithersburg/Rockville Md area. My background? Mainstream &
trad. bluegrass since the late 1960's.

Like a lot of posters he didn`t give any info on how to locate him, I could have used him a few years ago...I know that one time I posted my email address on one of my posts and it got deleted as being "against the rules" but there is always a PM....

    Howdy bailey3393 & Willie,

Actually I did have contact info (email & phone) within my original post, but this info.
appears to have been 'updated' & auto-removed. I wasn't aware of this until recently
    so I've done the following:
    - Sent a PM to both you & bailey3393 with a reply & contact info.
    - Updated my profile on this forum with contact info. Lol - this action may result
    in some auto-removal, but we'll see ...

    Take Care,

There is also a jam every Monday night in Takoma Park, I never make it because I bowl on Mondays, The info is listed on the DC Bluegrass Union web site...If you can figure out how it works, they recently changed their format and to me it seems complicated now days...

Al, my band is playing at Severn again this year, we go on at 3 PM, hope to see you there...
