    Thumbs up Converted guitars

Anyone else using a converted guitar besides me & Groveland? What is it?

I turned my 80s Squier Telecaster into a 5 string (CGDAE) a couple of years ago and promptly forgot it after receiving my Vessel F5. I just yanked it out of its inadvertent exile a week or so ago.

I love this beast, and I've been using the capo on the 7th fret to get GDAEB with a 17 3/16" scale length as much as I've been using the whole 25.5" scale length!

I left the first string slot open (rather than the 6th string slot) because I'm thinking about going to CGDAEG, as Groveland does.

    Question: String gauges?
My low C is a little floppy.
