Thanks billkilpatrick. I have the CD Dawn Raga and it's very interesting to see him and hear him speak about his music.
Wow, that's the most I've ever heard him speak. And I've never heard him say so much about his beginnings... It's from awhile ago though, judging from his looks and the fact he's talking about the Dream album.
Did he say his initial contact with mandolin was from his Dad taking him to a function where "Film Music" was being played? I couldn't quite make that out. If it is what he said, then my theory about his connection to Indian film (from the last page of this thread) may have actually been proven true! Woo hoo! I think I deserve another pistachio kulfi for that one!
