Default k&k twin dual head for loear 600vs?

I'm going to get a solid maple bridge from Red Henry to put on my Loar 600vs (F5 copy). I am persuaded by the sound argument as well as the mp3's. However, i was previously planning to use my ebony bridge pickup to replace the top of the normal loar bridge to amplify. Never been really happy with it. I think it's a Fishman. Rather harsh sound and needed extensive eq-ing. Not nice on a good mando. Now that i'm on the maple bridge path i was thinking of getting a K&K twin head to go under the bridge on the inside of the mando. I have very good experiences with putting it in a baritone uke, and the low end difficulties i had with installing it in a guitar is no problem with the mando. so, anyone out there who had it installed?

K&K is a great choice for a mandolin!
