It works great. #Now I can play in the living room while the wife watches movies on TV.
The only complaint I have is that the pickup selector switch gets knocked to the rear setting while playing.
Just when I got a paddle, they added more water to the creek.
Yeah, that pickup selector's a drag. On mine, I disengaged the bridge pickup, replaced the neck pickup with a Dimarzio Pro Track, and pulled out the switch entirely. Then I put a mini-toggle behind the tone knob so I have series/parallel on the Dimarzio. Much better!
I've just bought myself a VOX Amplug (the AC-30 variant), and it's great for quiet practice. Good fun, good tones, although the tonal range is towards the aggressive -- if you can get a smooth jazzy tone out of it, I haven't yet managed. All of these mini-amps and headphone amps seem to have slight hiss problems (except for the Korg Pandora, which is very quiet), but on the Amplug the hiss level is low enough that I can live with it. I like the simplicity compared to using a multi-effect box as a headphone amp.
