    Now that this Gibson is electric, I wanted to call it to your attention in case you hadn't seen it elsewhere. The fanned fret system seems ideal for a five string.     Here's a video sample. Warning: no musical quality. I seem to choke and completely forget everything as soon as I turn on the video. You'll just have to trust me that it DOES sound great when I'm playing jazz (whether or not I sound great, and I don't). Also, to my chagrin, when I turned on the amp, the microphone cut the volume down to the same as acoustic, and it really does NOT give a good impression of how nice this Kent Armstrong jazz pickup sounds. I didn't realize it until it was posted.
