Well, I'm off to the Midwest Mandolin Festival in Indianapolis tomorrow. Here is a sampling of what I'm taking. If you're going to be in town please stop by and say hi.

I forgot. The festival organizers will be raffling, auctioning or giving away one of them.

I'm hoping that those in attendance will do the rest of the e-club the "favor" of posting pictures of the e-gathering!

Bummer ... missed a shot at a Jerman giveaway! Sorry I wasn't able to haul my collection out there, but Indy is not an easy weekend trip from Seattle. If I didn't have important stuff going on tonight I might've been more inclined.

I wonder if this festival took place. Indiana was hit hard by storms and flooding over the weekend. I'm glad I don't live in this house and I feel sad for whoever did.

    Howdy all

Festival was held, though some of us traveling from Southern Indiana had a difficult time getting there. I traveled from Bloomington to Indy early that AM and hit all the bad spots in the highways just as they were being closed. Had I left later in the AM, I couldn't get through.

Andrew never showed and no one heard from him at that time. As he lives in Columbus--one of the hardest hit towns--his concerns are/were most likely elsewhere.

They'll have a raffle sometime in the future.

Festival went on in a nature center there. My workshop and performance with Gordon Bonham went well. I also played guitar with Andra Faye (both for the Festival and for the Yank celebration the next day) and that was a joy. She's got some angelic lungs.

Rich DelGrosso was great, as were all the other performers. Jerry Chapman worked his a$$ off and his commitment to have it in the face of nasty weather proved it.

    A great time all around.

    Jim
