Eva scow rocks the house!

Just got back from an Eva Scow jazz concert with Nashville keyboardist/songwriter Charlie Peacock. She alternated between her bandolim and a 5-string Rono borrowed from Mike Marshall. I brought my Bacorn, and Eva gave it a try after the gig.

Eva is the real deal ... an accomplished jazz player with a great touch on electric. I have been listening to Peacock for years, but the addition of Eva reinvents his material.

Now we just need to get her together with Eva Holbrook, eh? Wouldn't Eva & Eva on twin electrics be something else?

Now you're talking, Martin! Also a Charlie Peacock fan here, though I'm an even bigger fan of his producing skills. Love what he did with Sara Groves' latest project.

EEE-va and EH-va. Now that would be an interesing combination; two terrific and creative players well beyond their years. Outstanding idea. I know EHva's been considering acquiring her own emando; I assume you've given her some good direction already.

Well, EHva (as she quickly pointed out when I introduced myself) liked my Bacorn but appears to like this Rono even more, and may talk Mr. Marshall into selling it to her. It sounds great.

CP's own albums declined precipitously in artistic quality when he moved to Gnashville, but yeah, I can appreciate him as a producer. I believe this is the first time he's worked with a mandolinist. Smart career move.

and then on Grisman's Tone Poets CD, playing his Loar.
