I have a fine J.Mann 8 string electric which was posted awhile back. It will stay at my house forever. I was wondering what components are used along with the amplifier to get different tones or sounds. I've heard the use of mixers and such in discissions but don't know their use.
I currently use a Fender Twinn Reverb amplifier.
Take it down to a music store and try it thru a number of multiple effects pedal modules .
for electric and acoustic guitars.
saves money over buying one stomp box effect at a time.
There's a bunch of brands, so I suggest your ears will tell you more than brand names .
