    I see where Mr Wolfe has included other mandolins in the Journal. I looked and there has been discussions of F4's here and there but has there been a thread about say the variances of the model from 1921 to 1941?

    I've seen a bunch of pictures that Tom I, Lynn D, Daryl and Ken W have and I'm seen a bunch myself of all the interesting variations. Cremona Browns....aluminum bridge saddles...long necks....fern inlays.....unbound...bound peg heads...black finishes....golden finishes...metal tuner buttons...pierced double flower pots....etc etc...
    Might be fascinating to have a picture display of all of those .....

    I totally agree. Pretty big undertaking for sure, but between all of us I think we could supply a decent amount of data to have a pretty substantial starting point? Then the daunting task of maintaining it!
    I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
