So I've got a late '60's (?) Bruno (very sim to a Kent), I converted it to 4 string a while back. It came strung for mando tuning... I had been experimenting w/ different strings and guages for dola and nothing felt or sounded very good (or stayed in tune)... On somewhat of a whim I bought the Jazzdola set from Jazz Mando (thanks!). I strung 'em up and to my delight and beyond my expectations, these seem to be the PERFECT match: the tension is perfect, the feel is outstanding, they stay in perfect tune, and most importantly the sound AWESOME. I'm still giddy from jamming yesterday.

The only bummer is they dont offer ball end so I had to string it through the loop and knot-off at the tail piece. I was convinced this would dimple the string too much @ the knot and break, but so far soo good...

This post is really just an FYI. I am so pumped these srtings worked-out. If anyone has a Kent or Bruno E mandola, these strings are the way to go!!!
