What can you tell me about the tenor guitar farthest to the right in the picture. Something like that is what I am thinking of getting. I know of a new maker who has been working in that style, in mahogany, with matte finish, mmmmmmmmmm yummmy.

What we are looking at....ok first one on the left is my daughters Harmony Vita-tenor, a great sounding guitar with a beautiful one piece back of killer fiddle back mahogany, best guess made around 1930 something, next a old Gibson, then a 30's Bacon tenor, a 41 Martin 5-17t and last a 20's Regal "custom shop" tenor. That Regal is a great sounding little box tuned CGDA and the most responsive one of the bunch with its floating bridge. My main tenor is a different Bacon Banjo Co. tenor also from the 30's thats tuned GDAE. Its got cracks all over but it also has the sound I was looking for so I don't notice 'em much. As ya can see I've been thru a lot looking for the right one's for me and only have the Regal and Bacon still with me. If I ever get some more money my next will be a old (or new) Metal bodied resonator...maybe.

I was going to guess that was a Regal. Nice, nice nice.
