I was not a fan of the off white color of my used Calton case, so I came up with this. Ain't no way an airline is now gonna claim they can't find it... unless they dump their bags in the tundra!

You do realize that the purpose of camouflage is to make things difficult to see?
And that snow is white? Although you did capture the colour of downtown Toronto snowbanks three days after a snowfall. (I'm seeing shades of brown and beige in the image on my computer screen.)
Nice job, anyway.
Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."

Looks Good. Vinyl wrap?
Adam
Yes, vinyl wrap. Coupled with Babolat tennis grip and a strap made for a purse. Works like a charm!
Did you remove all the hardware or just do a great job cutting around it?
I had a professional car wrap place do it, as I would have surely messed up certain parts of it (which would have then driven my OCD crazy for the rest of my life). They did not remove anything, as they have all sorts of skills with weird angles and such. This was their first mandolin case and I couldn't be happier!
I would presume when a TSA employee (most of whom are not overly familiar with different types of musical instrument cases) sees this, "para-military" would be the first thought springing to mind and would be given more scrutiny that I, personally, would wish to receive in air travel.
