How do you still like it?

Is there anything you would change about it?

Do you still find the fretboard comfortable?

    Are the electronics adequate?

    Is the bridge adjustable enough?

    Anything else you might add?
    Thanks,
    Travis

I tell you what. I Mann 5 stringer is awesome. I play it through a Fuchs Lucky 7 and it kicks. The playability is great, intonation is perfect, frets are nice and smooth, comfortable neck, and the workmanship is class A all the way. Jon is a great guy, and can do just about anything you want, as far as building emandos.

Here it is with my RD F5(which just recently parted with) and my Acoutic Geeetar.

I've got a Mann EM8 and I LOVE it. Quality instrument! Never played a ryder, but I honestly cant imagine it would be signifacantly better... and I'm guessing may cost more (?).

I have a Ryder EM-44 that I love, although I don't play it much anymore after lucking my way into a five string that I like even more. The only thing I would do differently were I to go through Steve again would be to request heavier fret wire, but that was my choice, and not a failing of his workmanship or customer service, both of which I found to be excellent. Every now and then I head over and take a gander at his synth-ready model. Someday...
