I posted the first pic of the Jerman( cafe name is thistle3585) emando in progress in another thread but I thought I would start a thread to show Andrews work.

That's all for now. I'm having him put a Dimarzio DP188 Fast Track as a starting point. Should be done the middle to end of this month. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I will post more pics when I get them and will post some samples once I get some recorded once I get it. I must say that Andrew is a great guy to work with!
I LOVE the color. You could dive in and swim in that thing!
I'm partial to blue. The first instrument I made was a lap steel or flamy maple in blue. Mmmmmmm ...... blue ......
Andrew is just about finished with my mando. Here are some pics he sent tonight of it assembled.
Looks really good!
Andrew has done a great job. I can't wait to play it.
Nice blue. Glad to see he's still making e-mandos.

so...we gonna get a youtube or Myspace soundclip soon...lol?
Look up (to see whats comin down)
Nice. Even better since it's done in a Kentucky Wildcat royal blue...now only if my 'Cats were as good as this emando looks.
There are three kinds of people: those of us that are good at math and those that are not.
I'm sure Andrew appreciates the comments on his work. I can't wait to get it. I'm sure I will post some soundclips. In fact a whole album of it at some point. It is possible I just disappear from playing all the time though.
I received my Jerman on Friday. I'm pleased with it. I'm glad I went with the Dimarzio DP 188, it gives me the warm jazz tone I was hoping to get. The playability is beyond what I was expecting for a mando this inexpensive. He uses medium fret wire so the frets are wide and tall make for smooth playing. The workmanship is better than mandolins I've seen in the same price range. You would be hard pressed to find an emando to beat it even if you payed several hundred more. Andrew is a easy guy to work with and will do what it takes to make you happy and build you a great mandolin. If you are looking for a nice emando and can't afford to spend big buck contact Andrew and talk to him about building you one(NFI). I wouldn't wait too long his prices are bound to go up soon.
